Sneakers are it when you're looking for comfort, style, and love. They win against heels when it comes to comfort, yet are able to still keep outfits chic and stylish. And, how can you not love the pros of comfort and style when wearing them? These are the best shoes to have in your closet based on versatility, looks, and quality.
We must start with a classic white sneaker. It's a need for any wardrobe. The classic white shoe isn't going anywhere for two reasons: versatility and forever-will-be trendy. Dress it up or down, pair it with pants, skirts, and dresses, it will all work. I recommend these low-top Pedula sneakers from Santoni. They're made of beautiful Italian leather and have a timeless shape you just can't ignore. The sneakers feature a round toe with orange stitching throughout the shoe. Logo-embossed details grace the tongue and in two places on the back of the shoe. They're one of the most comfortable shoes in my closet right now. These Santoni's have a padded footbed and collar that make it possible to wear these shoes all day. At these prices, if shoes don't come with their own dust bag, then what's the point? They must be protected and cared for correctly to ensure they last. These sneakers come with their own dust bag and care instructions to help.
These next shoes, I found them on a whim. I was at an outlet mall and not looking for anything. When I first saw them, I hesitated because, honestly, they're ugly off foot. First, they reminded me of the shoes Hip Hop Harry wore, but when I say I'm glad I tried them on - I'm GLAD I tried them on. They have become one of my most loved shoes and receive more compliments than me. These Super Sleek 72' 'Icy Park' are platforms with white leather and suede details. With these features, they have the ability to be dressed up or down. I wear them to work, the grocery store, date nights, and any other event I feel like wearing them. If you want a pair, I have found them as low as $50, and trust me, you'll get your money's worth.
The first luxury shoe I bought were these Givenchy Sneakers City shoes. They turned into a bug that bit me and made me fall in love with luxury shoes. They're comfortable and timeless, so I know I'll have these in my closet for ages. These easily can be compared to ordinary Converses worn by many, but the details of these shoes are what makes them stand out. They're made of a cotton canvas with white contrasting topstitch on top of a rubber sole. But, the inside of the shoe is what matters the most, because it's all about comfort, right? They have a lambskin lining sole making them comfortable and fitted to the foot. Logo details are found throughout the shoe reminding you these shoes are nothing but luxury.
Finally, when looking for a shoe that can provide returns in the future, look no further than Jordans. These Air Jordan Retro 11 'Cool Grey' will get you all the respect you need when it comes to the sneaker game. They're constructed with an upper grey nubuck, patent leather midsole, white foam midsole, and finished off with an icy blue rubber outsole. I wore these shoes with sweatpants, cargos, camos, skirts, and trousers. ... Shall I go on? It's nothing but a win for me with these Retros. Plus if I ever wanted to get rid of them, they could be worth more than what I paid because they're only offered when Nike releases them. It took Nike 12 years to release this colorway. So, having these babies in your closet could turn out to be a great investment.
The best advice I can give, when it comes to anything in your closet, is to choose things that have versatility. This key characteristic will take you from season to season and outfit to outfit. Versatile shoes will ensure you're always stepping in the right direction.
