FIVE NEW BALANCE SHOES THAT SHOULD BE YOUR NEXT PAIR OF SNEAKERS

I have a confession - I bought five New Balance sneakers and love them all. Where do I begin? The 2002r's is where.

New Balance is making a wave with the 2002r's. All include technology called N-ergy, a flexible, durable thermoplastic gel. The gel responds to footsteps' shock providing a favorable cushion. Some of my favorite colorways are Eclipse, Magnet, and Team Away Grey featuring a detachable pocket. They're a dad shoe, but dads are on to something. They understand dad shoes go with everything. Name it and it'll go. Even skirts and dresses, that your dad may or not wear, get in on the pairings. The neutral tones of the shoes make them universal for any wardrobe.

If you know the sneaker game, then you heard about the distressed pairs of 2002r's. But, have you heard about the ones with detachable pockets? Upon arrival, they come with additional orange laces in the pockets. Take them out and put whatever you want in it. The contents are secure because they're zipped up in your shoe pocket. Never know how useful they'll be until you try.

Navy is such an underrated color that deserves all the respect. These Eclipse 2002RCA's are a dark shade of navy and in certain light look black. Don't be scared to pair them with black, despite what you've been told.

My favorite out of the purchased 2002r's are named Magnet. A fitting name because they attracted me. Featuring blue mesh and purple and grey suede details. They're unique yet versatile. Wear with light or dark colors. I'll show it in Photos. These shoes offer Gore-Text technology making the shoe waterproof.

Moving on from the 2002r lineup, the 9060's need to be mentioned too. Maybe the name is alluding to something in the future. These shoes encompass the past and future of sneakers. I've paired them with jeans, cargos, skirts, and dresses. Don't let the masculinity of these shoes fool you in what they can be worn with. They're comfortable and go with everything.

When New Balance started rolling out more unique shoes, the CT302's platform caught my eye. I love platform sneakers because the shoe turns chic. It took awhile to get my hands on them because they sell out fast. The only problem I had, which may not be a problem for you, was the colorway reminded me of my Ivy Parks Supersleek 72' 'Icy Parks'. I'm not in the business of buying every color or design. There are too many other options and not enough money. The leg up they have on the Ivy Park's is their Ortholite comfort foam sole. Technology that offers long-term cushioning and high breathability. I instantly felt the difference under my feet after putting them on.

New Balance is showing they're still in the sneaker game, proving they're stylish and comfortable.
